Effingham Noon Rotarians heard about the Effingham Regional Career Academy at their meeting on December 20.
ERCA Instructor Cassandra Carpenter, a teacher at Teutopolis High School, spoke about the students from Effingham County who are also ERCA students. Carpenter leads in teaching an introductory course known as Explore ERCA. Two students in the Explore class, Frances Verdeyen and Bryce Worman, were also present to share their experiences.
The Rotary weekly program chairman was Norma Lansing, who is also the CEO of ERCA.
