What a great turnout Meet The Maroons night was. The Dieterich community brought in 4 boxes of items and a nice monetary donation to give to our Veterans at the Danville VA. Thank you so much for your support! We will still be collecting items throughout November.

We honor our veterans in Third grade by bringing in memorabilia and pictures of family and friends that have served in the military. It was such a special feeling to hear about our American soldiers. We heard stories about soldiers from wartime and peace time. Today we were even able to touch a piece of history from World War 2. One of our students, Jaden Ordner brought in a Nazi flag captured by his Great Grandfather. To see this up close is rare indeed. Thank you to all those who have served in our Military! #respect
