On Friday April 24, around 1:00pm the Dieterich Fire Department will be partnering with the Effingham County Sheriffs Department, Rural Med EMS, and Air Evac to demonstrate a mock wreck accident for the Dieterich Unit 30 High School students.
This is only a mock wreck, NOT AN EMERGENCY. It is designed to be as realistic as possible for the students. We ask that the public and residents stay clear of the area around the pavilion and leave the first responders and students plenty of room during this event.

Yesterday, Meteorologist Seth Bohnhoff was the 4th grade guest speaker today!! He talked about what triggered his interest in meteorology along with the education required to get there. He amused the students with his work schedule and some cool weather pictures. Seth is a Dieterich graduate and works for WCIA Channel 3 News!
