Yesterday, Meteorologist Seth Bohnhoff was the 4th grade guest speaker today!! He talked about what triggered his interest in meteorology along with the education required to get there. He amused the students with his work schedule and some cool weather pictures. Seth is a Dieterich graduate and works for WCIA Channel 3 News!

The girls softball game will be at Windsor Elementary school.

The sports backers will be at the baseball game tonight selling pork burgers.

DHS Senior Trevor Crutcher scored elite finishes at the 2026 Illinois Top Times Championships.

Trevor finished 7th in the 1600M in a time of 4:34.59 and 5th in the 3200M in 9:44.33.

The Top Times Meet is by invitation only and includes the top runners from throughout the state.

Great Job Trevor!!

First graders are finishing up their science unit on the surface of the earth this week by completing stations. They enjoyed making models of the layers of the earth using playdoh! Other activities include making "edible soil," collecting and painting rocks, and creating a chain of natural resources. Picture is Mrs. Field's class with their earth layer models.
