Dieterich Unit 30 -

Dieterich Schools would like to recognize Phyllis Rohlfing on her retirement after 31 years of service to our district. Since 1995, Phyllis has safely transported generations of Dieterich students to and from school, activities, and events.
Phyllis’s dedication extended far beyond her regular bus routes. She faithfully drove buses for girls athletic events and spent countless evenings supporting our students as the bookkeeper for girls basketball and volleyball games. Her commitment to student safety, school activities, and Dieterich athletics has been truly remarkable. Through her dependable service, caring nature, and willingness to always help wherever needed, Phyllis has positively impacted generations of students and families.

We thank Phyllis for her 31 years of commitment, service, and unwavering support of our students and community.
Congratulations on your retirement, and best wishes in this next chapter.

Congratulations to DHS Senior Trevor Crutcher. Trevor is a double IHSA Sectional Champion by winning the 1600 and 3200 at the Newton IHSA Sectional Track Meet.

With the wins, Trevor has qualified for the IHSA State Track Meet at Eastern Illinois University on May 28-30.

Tonight's softball regional game has been postponed to tomorrow @ 6:00 P.M.

The most AR points by a first grader at Dieterich is 45. These kids made it their goal to beat that this year and worked hard all year. All four ended up beating it, with Sylvie Lustig (113) and Eliza Willenborg (101) earning over 100 points each!

The Dieterich Community Memorial Day Commemoration will be on Monday, May 25th at 10am. The ceremony will take place at the Dieterich Veteran's Memorial (Park Pavilion in case of inclement weather).

The baseball game tonight @ Okaw Valley has been moved to a 5:00 p.m. start time.

Tonight's regional softball game has been CANCELLED. The game is being moved to Wednesday 5/20 @ 6:00 pm.

A quick message to families with students who have a child that will be of Kindergarten age, 5 by September 1, 2026, and have not had your child screened or called the Dieterich Elementary office to inform us that your child will be attending, please do so soon. We will be mailing out Kindergarten packets to all incoming students towards the end of May. Students must reside within Dieterich Unit #30. The Dieterich Elementary phone number is 217-925-5248
