Tonight's High School Boys Basketball game at Woodlawn is still on. They are in an area expecting inclement weather later tonight so want to get our game in and us back on the road safely. The JV game will start at 6:00 but will play shortened quarters so that Varsity will start between 6:45 and 7:00p.m..

IHSA Girls Basketball Regionals begin on Saturday! Dieterich will be hosting Red Hill at 1:00, come out to the gym and support the team as they begin postseason play. Admission for all IHSA Regional games is $6.00 per person regardless of age. IHSA Regional games are not streamed on Hudl.
Mrs. Field's first grade recently had a tournament practicing their doubles plus one addition facts. They all did an amazing job and earned trophies and medals!


Last Friday DHS students competed in the ACES academic challenge at Lake Land College. Congratulations to Ryan Rich for placing first overall in Computer Science and Math and to Bailey McClain for placing second overall in Computer Science! Ryan and Bailey will now move on to compete in the next round of competition at EIU later in the year.

Our 5th graders concluded their Science unit on Earth's Systems by creating dioramas that included elements of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere. The students put a lot of thought & effort into making their projects come to life!




The 2025 DHS Hall of Fame night takes place this Friday, February 7th, at the Boys Varsity Basketball game vs. North Clay. This year we will be inducting three individuals: Courtney Flach, Mallorie Vahling, and Alex Bohnhoff. We will also be inducting the 2014/2015 HS Boys Basketball Team. The Varsity Boys Basketball team will be playing St. Anthony in the NTC Tournament Championship game tonight at 7:30. Tickets were sold last night after the game. We do have some left and they can be purchased in the high school office before the bus leaves for the game. (5:00-5:55) We will be taking unsold tickets to Altamont where they can be purchased at the door. Doors open at 6:30. Let's pack the gym! Go Maroons!
