State Champions!!
Our Dieterich FFA Livestock Judging Team just won the Illinois FFA State Livestock Judging Non-Reasons Contest!! 122 teams and 549 members, Shawn Crutcher was the High Individual Overall and Emma Beckman finishes in 5th Overall! Great job kids, we are SO proud of you!
Our 6th grade students had their Earth Day expo today! They were able to show off their knowledge and exhibits to other students and parents!
The baseball game with Neoga will be played at Dieterich at 4:30.
Neoga is unable to get their baseball diamond playable so the game will NOT be moved to Neoga. We are working on getting our diamond ready. We will put out another message if we are able to play here but wanted to stop our fans from driving to Neoga. Sorry for the confusion.
Dieterich Elementary students had a blast and learned some really cool science experiments!

Notice of School Board Vacancy
The Dieterich CUSD #30 Board of Education has a vacant seat due to the lack of candidates in the allowable townships during the Spring 2023 Election. The Board will be accepting applications for the open seat on April 21 – May 1. The term will be 2-years in length, until the next school board election. The Board will conduct interviews of those interested in the position. Appointment to the Board will take place at the May 8th Board meeting.
Applicants must reside within the Dieterich CUSD #30 school district boundaries, but NOT in Bishop Township (township 7N, range 7E). Board seats are limited to only 3 per township. There are currently 3 Board members that reside in Bishop Township.
Anyone interested in the Board seat should present a letter of interest to:

This is a reminder the Spring concert for grade 5-12 band and choir students, is tonight at 6:00p.m. in the high school gym. Due to construction, the lobby doors are not accessible. Please use any other door and go to the high school gym.

Thank you Dieterich Ruritan Club for hosting our honors Seniors! It was a great evening.
The Spring Concert for grades 5-12 will be on Thursday at 6:00 PM in the HS gym. Please join us to see what the bands and choirs have been working on this semester!
The Dieterich JH Student Council is currently running a school supply drive for the Elementary and JH classes. All items collected will be given to area students in need for the upcoming school year.

Red Cross is having a blood drive Wednesday, 4/19/23, in the cafeteria 2:00-6:00. All units help DHS earn scholarship money & donors will receive a Snoopy shirt while supplies last.
