Notice of School Board Vacancy
The Dieterich CUSD #30 Board of Education has a vacant seat due to the lack of candidates in the allowable townships during the Spring 2023 Election. The Board will be accepting applications for the open seat on April 21 – May 1. The term will be 2-years in length, until the next school board election. The Board will conduct interviews of those interested in the position. Appointment to the Board will take place at the May 8th Board meeting.
Applicants must reside within the Dieterich CUSD #30 school district boundaries, but NOT in Bishop Township (township 7N, range 7E). Board seats are limited to only 3 per township. There are currently 3 Board members that reside in Bishop Township.

This is a reminder the Spring concert for grade 5-12 band and choir students, is tonight at 6:00p.m. in the high school gym. Due to construction, the lobby doors are not accessible. Please use any other door and go to the high school gym.

Thank you Dieterich Ruritan Club for hosting our honors Seniors! It was a great evening.
The Spring Concert for grades 5-12 will be on Thursday at 6:00 PM in the HS gym. Please join us to see what the bands and choirs have been working on this semester!
The Dieterich JH Student Council is currently running a school supply drive for the Elementary and JH classes. All items collected will be given to area students in need for the upcoming school year.

Red Cross is having a blood drive Wednesday, 4/19/23, in the cafeteria 2:00-6:00. All units help DHS earn scholarship money & donors will receive a Snoopy shirt while supplies last.

WOW!!! What a great community we have! The Dieterich students and staff raised $1450 in ONE DAY for the tornado victims at Robinson. When talking to the Robinson school they have 2 high school students/families who lost EVERYTHING. We would love to be able to give each family $1000 so are hoping to raise another $500 by the end of the week. If anyone, including Dieterich businesses, would like to help out please send your donations to the Dieterich High School office.
As a friendly competition the DHS Cheerleaders are donating $50 and challenging other sports, classes and clubs to match our donation.
Donations will be accepted through Friday, April 14, 2023.

Due to a lack of girls on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 Dieterich is having to cancel their softball game with Robinson.
