Summer camps begin this week and due to construction in the HS lobby everyone should be dropped off and picked up at the Northwest doors of the HS gym around back of the school by the bus garage.

Due to wet field conditions the HS Baseball Regional Championship game on Saturday will now be played at 6:00 P.M. instead of 11:00 A.M.

The Auto Club is excited to announce the T-Town Cruise Night Committee has decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from their event on June 16th to our class! We are very thankful! It will be a great opportunity to purchase more tools for the students. Please go out and support this great event. Thanks again for helping our class add more tools.

Today we celebrate our staff retirements. Thank you Gina May (34 years), Chuck Fritscher (32 years) and Patty Worman (25 years). That's a combined 91 years of service to Dieterich Schools! Congratulations and enjoy retirement. You've earned it!

Last week our fifth grade students presented their annual Historical Figures Wax Museum. Each student chose a famous American, researched their life, wrote a speech, and dressed up in costume to share what they learned to the public!

Our 6th grade students and staff members had a great trip to the St. Louis City Museum on Friday! This was our first year going there and we hope to continue each year with our 6th grade as their end of the year field trip!

Who needs a new basketball hoop? The Auto Club will be giving away a basketball hoop during the Dieterich 4th of July Celebration. We will announce more details as the event gets closer, but you may want to be practicing your shot..... 😉😉

For those attending the Senior Honors Night tonight, it is at 6:00p.m. in the high school gym. The lobby door will be open but due to construction might not be the best entry for those with mobility issues. The doors by the office will also be open.

Our staff and students would like to thank our high school student helpers from this year! They have spent their coop hours each morning working in the classrooms and with our students. This has been a great program for our students and the seniors. The seniors who are working with us are interested in a career in education. Good luck in their future endeavors!
