We are looking for ticket takers for our indoor games. If you are willing to take tickets on behalf of a school club, class, sport or organization please let me know which game and what class/club/sport/organization you want the payment to go to. Examples are Class of 22, Sportsbackers, Post Prom, any sport including cheer, dance, scholar bowl, Library Club, etc.

Check out the Dieterich apparel for this year's Post Prom fundraiser. Orders are due for the first round September 3rd. We will place another order for Christmas delivery at a later time. Please send orders and payment to the high school office.
High School Volleyball will be our first sport with indoor ball games. The first home game is Monday. If anyone would like to purchase an individual or family pass please contact Rae Lyn in the high school office. You can send a check with your student, come by the office or let me know to add it to your account and you can pay online. Payment will need to be made before tickets will be distributed. Family passes are $90, and individual passes are $38.
Attention Class of 2021: your Senior yearbooks are in the office if you purchased one. The office is open 8:00-3:30.

A reminder that our Dieterich Elementary Open House is this Monday August 16, from 4:00-6:00. Parents can enter through the west cafeteria entrance or through door 16 by the junior high gym.
Students can bring their school supplies and see their teachers and friends!
The Dieterich Elementary PTO will be serving hot dogs and refreshments and other goodies!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone!

We have been informed that the Pine Street road construction project will not be completed by the start of school. Attached is a map with instructions of our alternate parent drop off and pick up process.
We will use these procedures until further notice.

We look forward to our monthly school board meeting tonight and are expecting many guests. Please note, we will be limiting public comments to two and a half minutes per attendee to ensure that each person has a chance to share their thoughts. All guests must sign in upon arrival.
JH Softball for today, August 9, 2021 has been cancelled. There will be practice in the JH gym 3:00-5:00.
The softball game scheduled for 8/10/21 has been moved to Cumberland (originally scheduled at Dieterich). Start time is 4:30p.m., bus leaves at 3:15.
HS Cross Country Practice this morning has been canceled due to rain/thunderstorms. Practice the rest of this week will be at 8:00 am.
The start of another school year is right around the corner. Here are some quick reminders and important dates.
• August 16th – Teacher Institute, No Student Attendance.
• August 16th – Elementary Open House, 4:00pm-6:00pm.
• August 17th – 1st Day of Student Attendance, 1:50pm Dismissal.
• August 18th – Full Day Attendance, 8:25am-3:25pm.
• ALL students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch to start the school year, per USDA.
• Please be watching for updates on BUS SCHEDULES & PICK-UP/DROP-OFF procedures.

HS Volleyball practice will begin Monday, August 9th. Practices will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. each day. Just a reminder that all athletes must have an updated sports physical, athletes will not be allowed to practice without one. These can be given to Coach Flood or Coach Garbe on the first day of practice.

There will be a HS Baseball Player/Parent meeting on Monday, July 26th at 6:00 P.M. at the pavilion. Coach Booher will be going over team rules and expectations and introducing himself to everyone. Practice and game schedules will also be handed out at this meeting. If you are unable to attend please email Coach Booher at cbooher@dieterichschools.org.

A reminder that online registration for Dieterich Unit #30 is currently open. Online registration will close on August 6th. After August 6th, parents will have to register their children in person at the elementary or jr/sr office.
