The 2025 DHS Hall of Fame night will be held on Friday, February 7th, at the Boys Varsity Basketball game vs. North Clay. This year we will be inducting three individuals: Courtney Flach, Mallorie Vahling, and Alex Bohnhoff. We will also be inducting the 2014/2015 HS Boys Basketball Team. We look forward to a great evening and hope past inductees can return to help welcome the new members into the DHS Hall of Fame.

Effingham High School is hosting a presentation by Det. Rich Wistocki on January 27th from 6-8 p.m. in the Cafetorium.
The presentation includes discussing student online safety including cyber-bullying, sexting, harassment, cyber-stalking, grooming and false personation. The presentation is geared toward parents.

We’re excited to announce the ticket sales for our upcoming NTC Boys Basketball Tournament, January 27-February 1! Here are the key details to keep in mind:
Black Seat Sales Start Date/Time: Tickets will go on sale starting Saturday, January 18th, 9:00am-10:30am in the ACHS Office.
First Come, First Serve: Please note that tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis, so we encourage you to act quickly!
Ticket Limit: Each person may purchase up to 4 black seats.
Full Week Purchase: Tickets must be purchased for the entire week.
Open to All: This sale is open to the entire public, not just current black seat holders. Everyone is welcome!
Individual Sessions: Starting Tuesday, January 21st, you can call the high school office to purchase individual session tickets based on availability. (618-483-6193)
Bleacher Seats: Please note that bleacher seats are general admission and will be available for purchase at the gate on game day.
