It's that time of year again! We hope you are all enjoying your summer. Online registration for the 2023-2024 school year will be open July 1 through July 31. Please make every effort to register before July 31st so that we can prepare staff with special instructions if needed, as well as plan our transportation routes. The elementary and junior-senior high school offices are closed for the summer but both secretaries check emails throughout the summer so if you run into a problem or concern with the registration process, please email the respective office. Grades PreK-6 email kgoebel@dieterichschools.org, grades 7-12 email rschmidt@dieterichschools.org. If you need to register in person you may register in the respective office - elementary August 2-3, Jr/Sr High August 3-4.
ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETE BEFORE AUGUST 4TH for transportation purposes!
We are installing some new lockers in the junior-senior high school, so locker numbers are changing. We will alert you once locker numbers have been assigned. If you purchase PE clothes online, your child will get them in class the first week of school. If you have a schedule concern, you may email Mrs. Tammy Bloemer at tbloemer@dieterichschools.org. Schedule changes may also be done the first week of school. If your student is enrolled in driver's education, or any dual credit classes, please pay for those classes prior to the class starting.
Please make sure to have all eye exams, dental exams, physicals, and vaccinations up to date per the state timeline requirements. If you have questions regarding medical information, you may email the school nurses at jzeigler@dieterichschools.org or lthull@dieterichschools.org.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Information for those registered for the Cheer & Dance Camp:
Camp is Wednesday through Friday 8:00-10:30 in the high school gym. Due to construction please enter through the doors that take you into the high school office corridor. We will not be able to sign in/out in the lobby like past years so we will have sign in in the corner of the gym. We will bring girls to the outside area between the office door and the junior high gym for pickup. Please let us know if someone other than the parent is picking up the child. Please be on time for pickup. T-shirts will be given out Thursday to be worn Friday for pictures and the parent performance. Remember to send your child with a water bottle. We cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Just a reminder to go out tonight and support the Teutopolis Cruise Night & Car Show. A portion of the proceeds will go to the DHS Automotive Class. Thanks again to the committee for thinking of our class!

Construction update. Pictures of the gym lobby, elementary classrooms, ball fields, and science lab.

Due to construction in the elementary school library - all Summer Library activities have been cancelled. If you are interested in borrowing books, please contact Mrs. Richars for information. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Volleyball camp is in the high school gym. Due to construction, the easiest way to enter the gym is to drop off and pick up behind the school by the bus garage (ball diamonds). Also, please send a water bottle with your child, there are no working water fountains in the gym area.

Due to wet field conditions the HS Baseball Regional Championship game on Saturday will now be played at 6:00 P.M. instead of 11:00 A.M.

The Auto Club is excited to announce the T-Town Cruise Night Committee has decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from their event on June 16th to our class! We are very thankful! It will be a great opportunity to purchase more tools for the students. Please go out and support this great event. Thanks again for helping our class add more tools.

Today we celebrate our staff retirements. Thank you Gina May (34 years), Chuck Fritscher (32 years) and Patty Worman (25 years).
That's a combined 91 years of service to Dieterich Schools!
Congratulations and enjoy retirement. You've earned it!

Well, that's a wrap!
Always bittersweet to see the students leave for the summer.
Thanks to everyone for another GREAT year!

Congratulations to Pete Britton for signing to play baseball for Oakland City University. We are very proud of you and wish you the best of luck in the future!
