ACTION NEEDED: Amazon Smile & Dieterich Community Improvement Foundation
Most of you may know that Amazon Prime Day starts tomorrow :) Did you know that if you go to smile.amazon.com for your shopping and choose a charity, that Amazon will automatically give .5% of your purchases to your designated charity? The prices are always the same as the normal amazon.com site or mobile app. How cool is that?!
Well, as of today, we have figured out how to keep that money in Dieterich! The Dieterich Community Improvement Foundation is the registered 501c3 organization that supports most of the community projects in Dieterich.
We have earmarked the Amazon Smile funds to go directly into the account that will support the new recreation center and daycare that we have all been dreaming of!
Please go to https://smile.amazon.com/ch/37-1311316 or you can search for Dieterich Community Improvement Foundation within the Amazon Smile page and select Dieterich Community Improvement Foundation as your charity of choice.
I'm asking that you please make this charity selection today, in order to capture all of the Prime Day spending and upcoming Christmas shopping that will be happening. This is a great way to support our community without any extra effort - just Amazon shopping like you normally do. :)
Please share the Facebook posts and encourage your friends to make this change!
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks!
Charity Bohnhoff
