JH Boys Basketball open gym for 5/21/19 is canceled
More donations have come in for the small engine/automotive class. Dust and Son Auto Supplies donated an engine hoist to the program. This year they are celebrating 90 years in business. They want to be part of Automotive Technology being taught in our schools to ensure the future of the Automotive Aftermarket. Thank you for your continued support of Dieterich Schools.
Steve Shull of Shull Storage, also donated $100 to our program. He was the former automotive teacher at Newton.
Becky Wilson of B & G Antique Tractor Parts donated $150.

A huge thank you to Sharon Shull for the donation of this new Brother sewing machine to the Art Classroom. The 6th grade class really enjoyed learning to sew this year and we look forward to expanding the use of our sewing machines to more grade levels next year.

Today was the last day of school for the Seniors. Dieterich Bank provided them with breakfast along with some new sunglasses. Thank you to Dieterich Bank and Congratulations to the DHS Class of 2019! Graduation is set for Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the high school gym.
Kindergarten went on an Amtrack train ride for their field trip.
Today was “Mr. Johnson” day at school in honor of his many years of teaching at Dieterich. He will be retiring at the end of the school year.
On Tuesday, May 14, Lisa Zumbahlen with Ag in the Classroom visited Dieterich First Graders to make ice cream.

Stephanie has lived in Dieterich for nearly 10 years with her husband, Jake. Together they have three children, Wyatt, Lydia and Levi. Stephanie is a stay at home mom and in the past helped start the Dieterich After School Program and served on the PTO as well as church youth groups. She is excited to be on the School Board and to be involved with the school and decision making process.
