Dieterich Unit #30 is excited to announce the addition of Pam Faller to our elementary staff as a sixth grade teacher! Here is a short bio from Mrs. Faller.
Hello. I am Mrs. Pam Faller and I’m looking forward to teaching sixth grade at Dieterich Elementary School this year. Here are a few tidbits about me... I grew up on a farm in Jasper County and graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Middle School Mathematics. Later, I earned my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University. While this will be my first year at Dieterich, it will not be my first year teaching sixth grade. I have enjoyed teaching sixth grade for ten years.
My husband, Dave, and I have four crazy kids, ages 11, 8, 5 and 2. They keep us hopping, but we wouldn’t want it any other way! We have lived in the North Pointe Subdivision in Dieterich for twelve years and are proud to call Dieterich our home. In addition to teaching, I love spending time with family and friends, playing games and going on golf cart rides and walks.
look forward to having the privilege of teaching your child.
Together, we will continue to work toward growth and high student achievement.

Congratulations to Brianna Wendte, Citizen Service Citation recipient!
Brianna Wendte was recognized for her actions that made a difference in another citizen's life.
McFarland said Wendte, on June 9, came across an accident that involved an elderly gentleman. She stopped and rendered aid, called authorities and gave him a bottle of water and made phone calls herself to be sure his family was contacted.
“It's citizens like Brianna that go the extra mile and it is my pleasure as chief to be able to honor them,” said McFarland. “I understand this was your risk of being late for work.”
The Good Samaritan said it was true, she was roughly an hour and half late for work that day.

Did you see our big news this weekend? We unveiled three new logos that represent the proud history and progressive mindset of the school and community! Check them out below! 👇
